‘OCCULT’ means ‘that which is hidden from view’ and for almost a century the Richel Eldermans Collection of magic objects and artworks from the Netherlands, now housed at The Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle, North Cornwall, remained secret and hidden. In the year 2000, as the new millennium began, the museum inherited this fantastic collection from Mr Bob Richel.

The collection of artworks includes images of both traditional witchcraft and ritual magic. Works relating to secret magical societies such as the Argentum Astrum (A.A), Order Templi Orientis (O.T.O) and Medicinalia Magica (M.M) sit alongside pagan symbolism and intricate drawings of witch’s brooms, mandrakes and magical knots.

For the first time, via a special licensing agreement with The Museum of Witchcraft, The Occult Art Company is making high quality numbered prints of some of these artworks available. These can be purchased online or by contacting us by email, phone or post. Each print is produced to order using acid free textured fine art paper and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the Museum.

Here is a photo of Graham & Bob Richel shortly before Bob's death.
